Waking up is hard. You spend all these years in school getting up before 8 just for it to feel impossible once you get to college. How does that happen? A majority of students will tell you to never take 8am classes but you shouldn’t rule out the option of taking morning classes just yet. Here are 5 ways AM classes will change your life for the better.
You make more out of your day
The earlier you rise, the longer your day is. (Duh.) What this actually means is you can be productive early, and give yourself a break later- watch a show, take a nap, grab coffee with a friend!
You’ll have a better sleep schedule
You know those nights when you just can’t fall asleep? With an early morning, packed schedule and a little extra time on your hands, you’ll be slipping into bed at a reasonable hour. Hello, new healthy sleep schedule.
You have time for other activities
If you choose to work or do extra-curricular activities along with your coursework it might become difficult to schedule everything in. Scheduling morning classes allows more free time to be a part of those clubs that most likely meet in the evenings or snag a job on campus.
They’re always the last classes filled
Most students will be going for the later classes because that gives them time to sleep in. The earlier classes are almost a guaranteed spot, and considering the fact that class registration is basically the hunger games this will just be one extra thing you don’t have to worry about.
You’ll feel more productive
Getting your classes with over earlier will not only make you feel like you’ve accomplished something but also motivate you to get more things done throughout the day. Go, you!
